This 8-year-old boy developed scattered red crusted papules which healed with varicelliform scars on his face, arms, and legs 6 months after initiating naprosyn for juvenile rheumatoid arthritis. Although he discontinued the naprosyn several months ago, he continued to develop new lesions. Urinary, red cell, and plasma porphyrins were normal.
