A healthy 9 month old girl developed a smooth topped pyramid shaped nodule on the perineum after an episode of diarrhea. The lesion resolved several months later without treattment. The red crusted papules in the anogenital area cleared after a week of topical antifungal therapy. Pyramidal protrusion of infancy should not be confused with anogenital warts or other sexually transmitted diseases.
