This adolescent boy with Crohn disease developed a diffuse pityrias rosea-like eruption after 3 months of treatment of his inflammatory bowel disease with infliximab. During subsequent infusions he developed an acute exacerbation of the reaction within hours. The eruption improved over the following 2 months before the subsequent infusion resulted in a recurrence of the skin lesions. The eruption cleared when the infliximab was discontinued.
