Ten days after receiving high dose chemotherapy, a 14 month girl developed high fevers and purpuric papules on her trunk and extremities. A skin biopsy demonstrated yeast in dermal blood vessels, and multiple blood cultures as well as a piece of the skin biopsy grew Candida.
