This 35-year-old man complained of an itchy scaly red rash for several months. His girl friend had similar symptoms. Although he had a generalized eczematous eruption, burrows were noted on the penis and the finger web spaces. Symptoms and skin findings resolves over 3-4 weeks after 2 applications of permethrin 5 percent cream.
