A 9 month old boy developed linear hyperpigmented scaly nodules on the trunk and extremities with the most prominent nodules in the skincreases. Several scrapings revealed viable mites, and the entire family was treated with 5 percent permethrin cream. Although the papular rash and most of the nodules resolved within a month, some nodules in the skin creases persisted for nearly a year.
