A 50 year old renal transplant patient developed slow growing nodules on her leg which were resistant to antibiotic therapy. A skin biopsy demonstrated granulomatous inflammation with dematiaceous sclerotic bodies or medlar bodies often referred to as "copper pennies." Culture results are pending.
