This 5o year old man has a 25 year history of systemic lupus erythematosus with occasional fevers, arthralgias, photosensitivity, lymphopenia, and annular plaques but no significant renal, cardiac or central nervous system involvement. Serologic studies were positive for antibodies against Ro (ssA) and La (ssB) and an antinuclear antibody titer of 1:640.
