This 68-year-old woman developed progressive fibrotic atrophic plaques with hemorrhagic vesicles and bullae on her abdomen, chest, and extremities. Skin biopsies showed changes consistent with morphea and lichen sclerosis et atrophicus. She had no systemic disease and failed to improve with topical and oral steroids and phototherapy (PUVA).
