These changes are characteristic of scleromyxedema.

Description

The dermis contains and increase in fibroblasts, collagen and interstitial mucin. The fibroblasts are irregularly arranged, and the collagen has a whorled pattern. A sparse perivascular lymphocytic infiltrate is present.
