Comments

A 55-year-old man developed a pink 1.5 cm nodule on the upper lip. A biopsy revealed a high grade squamous cell carcinoma. The tumour was excised, and the defect was repaired with a Z-plasty. Although there was no clinical or radiographic evidence of local lymph node involvement, selective neck dissection was performed, and no nodal mestastases were noted.
