Comments

This 67 year old woman complained of chronic itchy patches on her ankles associated with intermittent edema. A skin biopsy demonstrated dermatitis, fibrosis, hemosiderim deposition, fibrin deposition, but no evidence of vasculitis. Note the stellate shape of individual lesions and confluent pattern on the lateral aspect of her ankles.
