Comments

This 52-year-old man had a 5 year history of disseminated scaly brown papules with lesions on the feet suggesting dyshidrotic eczema. He also had red papules on his legs with complete alopecia. Biopsies from his legs showed changes typical of syringolymphoid hyperplasia with alopecia. Further studies revealed biallelic monoclonal rearrangement of the T-cell gamma chain gene typical of cutaneous T-cell lymphoma. See Esche, et al. Arch Dermatol 1998;134:753-4.
