This unilateral eruption was initially treated with topical steroids for contact dermatitis. As soon as the steroid was tapered the rash and pruritus flared. A KOH examination of scale from the border showed hyphae, and the treatment was switched to a topical antifungal cream with rapid clearing of the rash
