This is a lesion from a different patient, on the chin of a 58-year-old man. It is included to show the presence of some nuclear atypia and mitotic activity, both of which are acceptable (in moderation) in trichilemmomas.

Description

At high power from a lesion of a different patient, there are some atypical features. This case shows moderate nuclear atypia within the clear-cell population, including increased size and the focal presence of conspicuous nucleoli. Mitotic figures are also seen.
