This 64-year-old man developed rasymptomatic ed dermal plaques associated with arthralgias 2 months ago. A skin biopsy revealed a lymphocytic perivascular infiltrate with a dramatic increase in dermal mucin. All lupus serologic studies were negative, and a medical evaluation failed to reveal systemic disease. He was treated with oral hydroxychloriquine.
