Comments

At birth this 8 month old boy had multiple bronze colored orange peel textured 0.5-1.5 cm papules and plaques scattered on the trunk, scalp and extremities. Stroking of the plaques produced localized edema typical of a Darier sign that persisted for 10 minutes. He also had dermatographism of normal skin that was less dramatic and lasted only a few minutes.
