Comments

This 6-month-old Haitian boy developed a disseminated vesicular eruption with 2-3 mm vesicles on a red base over the last 5 days. Note some of the older lesions with central crusting. The child had a low grade fever but otherwise appeared well. The "dew drop on a rose petal" and lesions in various stages of evolution is typical of chicken pox.
