This 15-year-old girl had a history of extreme sun sensitivity since early childhood. Repeated erythema and blistering of the sun exposed areas resulted in skin atrophy, poikiloderma, and xerosis. Skin lesions extended onto non-sun exposed sites as well. She also developed corneal opacities from recurrent episodes of keratitis but no neurologic manifestations.
